Crunchyroll has announced that Given The Movie: Hiiragi Mix is available now on the streaming service. The film, which is the first of a two-part series, initially premiered in theaters in January 2024. The movie comes to Crunchyroll after almost a year since it aired in Japanese theaters. It is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Russian, and Castilian Spanish subbing.
The second part, given The Movie: Umi e, recently premiered in Japan in September 2024. It is currently unknown when the film will be available on the service. Natsuki Kizu wrote the given manga in 2013. The series continued until 2023. SuBLime publishes the series in English. An audio drama started in 2016 and is still ongoing. The manga has also been adapted into a television drama and several other anime films.
Further, the given anime began and ended in 2019. The series is available now in its entirety on Crunchyroll, alongside three other films based on the franchise. The streaming service describes the recent film, Given The Movie: Hiiragi Mix, as follows:
After Ritsuka Uenoyama hears Mafuyu Sato sing, he invites Mafuyu to join his band. Given auditions for a festival in Shibuya and falls short, though they continue to attract attention.
