    Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Season 2 Reveals Cast and Ending Theme

    Premiering on January 12.

    The staff for Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun has revealed new cast members for season 2. Additionally, they also announced the ending theme artist. Akari Kitō, the voice of Nene Yashiro, will perform the ED, titled “With a Wish.” The new cast members for Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun season 2 include Hōchū Ohtsuka as Kako and Rie Kugimiya as Mirai. Season 2 will premiere on January 12.

    Aida launched the ongoing manga in the G-Fantasy magazine in 2014. The first After-Fantasy Hanako-Kun anime premiered on TBS in October 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the anime on the same day but at 2:00 p.m. ET — ahead of the Japanese premiere — in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India.

    Aida launched the spinoff manga in February 2018, and ended it with the 25th chapter in October 2021. Square Enix published one compiled book volume for the manga in August 2019. Yen Press published the volume in English in April 2021. The anime is available to watch on Crunchyroll. Additionally, the entire manga to date is available on Yen Press. The streaming service describes the series as follows:

    Kamome Academy is rumored to have many mysteries, the strangest of which involves the mischievous ghost of Hanako-kun. When occult-loving high schooler Nene Yashiro accidentally becomes bonded to him, she uncovers a hidden world of supernatural beings. Now the two of them are conspiring to keep the peace between student and supernatural—that is, if they can only stay out of trouble themselves.

    Season 2 of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun will premiere on January 12.
