Square Enix Opens a New Pop-Up Store This December in Japan

Featuring merchandise from Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and more.

Square Enix has recently announced that they’ll be opening a Pop-Up Store in Japan, at Osaka’s Daimaru Umeda, on the 13th floor. The store will be available from December 6, 2024 to January 6, 2025, and will be selling merchandise from a variety of Square Enix series.

Inside the store, there will be a special Dragon Quest exhibit, with Erdrick’s iconic armor, sword, shield and helmet proudly on display for fans to take pictures of.

This pop-up store will be selling all sorts of merchandise from various Square Enix franchises, such as Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and even merchandise from their serialized manga series, such as Black Butler and Tokyo Aliens.

The merchandise ranges from all sorts of items — to mug cups to pin badges, and even T-shirts and plushies, depending on the series, with some of the items being new ones that are exclusive to the store.

You can also purchase soundtrack CDs, such as the recently released DAWNTRAIL: FINAL FANTASY XIV Original Soundtrack from Final Fantasy XIV, the Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven Original Soundtrack, the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestra World Tour LIVE CD, and many others! You can view the full list of merchandise through this link.

Customers who spend over ¥2,000 at the store will receive this exclusive postcard from Square Enix MUSIC, featuring a chocobo and a moogle.
