Final Fantasy VII Update Removes Sharing Restrictions

    Available on all consoles.

Square Enix has released an update for the original version of Final Fantasy VII. The surprise update removes all sharing restrictions for the original game. Specifically, the update allows Final Fantasy VII players to freely share screenshots, videos, and more for spoilery scenes, including one that Aerith fans are all too familiar with.

The original Final Fantasy VII is available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and the Steam page describes the game as follows:

In Midgar, a city controlled by the mega-conglomerate Shinra Inc., the No. 1 Mako Reactor has been blown up by a rebel group, AVALANCHE.

AVALANCHE was secretly formed to wage a rebellion against Shinra Inc., an organisation which is absorbing Mako energy, destroying the natural resources of the planet. Cloud, a former member of Shinra’s elite combat force, SOLDIER, was involved with the bombing of the Mako Reactor.

Can Cloud and AVALANCHE protect the planet from the huge, formidable enemy, Shinra Inc.?
