    Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc Anime Announced

    Crunchyroll to stream the next Black Butler arc.

    During Crunchyroll’s Anime Expo 2024 panel, Square Enix, Aniplex, and Crunchyroll announced that the Black Butler anime series will return with the Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc anime in 2025. Black Butler: Public School Arc director Kenjiro Okada returns to direct the new anime.

    CloverWorks will continue to produce the Black Butler anime series in Emerald Witch Arc. Daisuke Ono and Maaya Sakamoto reprise their roles as Sebastian Michaelis and Ciel Phantomhive respectively. Crunchyroll will stream the new anime series worldwide as it airs in Japan.

    Yana Toboso’s Black Butler manga series began in 2006, and more than 30 volumes have been released to date. The 34th volume released on April 26.

    Ciel Phantomhive is the most powerful boy in all of England, but he bears the scars of unspeakable suffering.
