    Stellar Blade Photo Mode Update is Now Live with Patch Notes

    The update we've all been waiting for.

    The long-awaited Photo Mode update (patch 1.009) for Stellar Blade is now live on PlayStation 5, and developer SHIFT UP revealed patch notes to go along with the update’s release. As previously announced, Photo Mode allows Eve and her companions to strike poses for photos, and players have camera work and various filters to choose from.

    The update brings four new costumes, a new accessory called Symbol of Legacy, and the “No Ponytail” character customization option for EVE. In addition, players may pick a specific song from the turntable during camp breaks. Auto-target and ballistics correction features will be applied to enemy insta-kill skills, making battle more intense.

    • Photo Mode feature has been added.
    • Photo challenge requests have been added.
    • You can acquire new outfits from the new 1.009 Patch.
      • 4 new outfits for EVE
        • FourSeconds Black Denim
        • FourSeconds Everyday Wear
        • Neurolink Skin
        • War Dress
    • A new accessory for EVE
      • Symbol of Legacy
        • “Symbol of Legacy,” which can be acquired from a certain ending, changes the appearance of the Tachy Mode.
    • Lip-sync support for 6 additional voiceover languages. – Français / Español / Italian / Deutsch / Português (Brasil) / Español (Latinoamérica)
    • You can now select the BGM you want from the camp’s Turntable.
    • “No Ponytail” has been added to the ponytail length options.
    • Projectile auto-aim correction and bullet magnet functions have been applied to the instant death skill.
    • Various other bug fixes.

    The Stellar Blade x NieR: Automata DLC will release on November 20. Fans may also look forward to a PC version of Stellar Blade, coming to Steam and Epic Games Store in 2025. A Stellar Blade sequel is also planned, and SHIFT UP is working on an all-new game as well.
