Dragami Games announced Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will release on December 2 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One alongside the new “Pin-Up Outfit” update. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will cost $44.99.
The new update adds the Pin-Up Outfit to all versions of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, and more new costumes will be added soon. It’s worth noting that Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will run in 1080p at 30 FPS on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Although the PlayStation 4 is not cross-buy compatible, the Xbox One version may be upgrade to the Xbox Series X|S version via Smart Delivery. An early purchase bonus will also be announced soon, according to Dragami Games.
The recently released remaster includes a “RePOP” mode with a distinct and colorful pop art style for damage effects. Players may also choose to keep the game in Original Mode with its normal damage effects. The remaster also has shorter load times, auto-QTE options, various gameplay improvements, and a new streamer mode.
Players may choose between the original English voices or Japanese voices in the remaster. In addition, Juliet has a new Japanese voice actress. The in-game model for Juliet was not changed in the remaster, however.
This past August, Limited Run Games took pre-orders for the Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP physical edition, which costs $49.99. The estimated shipping date for the physical edition is set between December 1 and December 31 this year.
Lastly, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
