Xbox has announced that the Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be available on Xbox Game Pass tomorrow. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass PC. The release is likely due to Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision, the current right holders of the Spyro franchise. Check out the announcement post below:

Insomniac and PlayStation released the first Spyro in 1998 for the original PlayStation. Over the years, several sequels, spin-offs, and reboots have made the franchise a classic among fans. In 2019, Activision and Toys For Bob released a collection of the first three games called the Reignited Trilogy. The trilogy is available now on all consoles. Recently, the game passed 10 million sales.
Last year, the series celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary. To commemorate the announcement, Activision released several pieces of merch for the franchise. Additionally, the soundtrack of the entire trilogy is finally available on Spotify. Spyro also recently made an appearance in Astro Bot. The future of the franchise is currently unknown.
