The 2XKO has shown off the first gameplay sneak peak for one of the game’s many characters, Jinx. Jinx is one of the most popular characters in League of Legends as the chaotic anarchist of Piltover. Recently, her character has been highlighted more in Arcane, the beloved Netflix series featuring characters from League of Legends.

The first three episodes of Arcane season 2 premiered on Saturday, November 9, with subsequent episodes set to release in threes every week until November 23. Only time will tell if Jinx’s sister, Vi, will also make an appearance in 2XKO. Check out the new trailer for Jinx below:

Additionally, in a recent post, the developers of 2XKO confirmed that the next alpha test for the game would release in Spring 2025. Check out our impressions of the fighting game’s most recent test here.

Riot’s new fighting game, 2XKO, is an innovative free-to-play 2D fighter set in the League of Legends universe. It features 2v2 combat where each player controls a pair of characters from the game. It introduces a simplified control scheme with three attack buttons and easy-to-execute special moves, similar to Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. The game tries to aim for accessibility while maintaining depth for competitive play.

Additionally, the character roster includes familiar faces like Ahri, Darius, Ekko, and Yasuo, with more expected to be announced. Behind Project L are notable figures from the fighting game community, including Tom and Tony Cannon, founders of the EVO championship series and pioneers of the rollback netcode, GGPO.

2XKO will be fully released in 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
