Aquaplus has announced Utawarerumono: Shiro e no Michishirube, the latest game in the series, alongside a revival of the cancelled Jasmine visual novel. The new Utawarerumono title will launch in 2025 for unannounced platforms in Japan.
The staff of the game was confirmed at the Great Aquaplus Festival: 30th Anniversary event in Yokohama. An opening animation was also shown to fans in attendance.
The staff of Utawarerumono: Shiro e no Michishirube includes:

In an interview at Famitsu, executive producer Naoya Shimokawa stated that Utawarerumono: Shiro e no Michishirube is the “culmination that encompasses everything in the Utawarerumono series.” It will feature an evolved and updated version of the combat system from Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten. More details about the game will be revealed at a later date.

The canceled Jasmine visual novel from 2015 has been revived by Aquaplus. Originally announced in 2011, the visual novel is back in development for unspecified platforms, and a release date wasn’t announced, either. The game’s staff includes Yuuichi Suzumoto as scriptwriter and Hisashi Kawata as the character designer.
