Transformers is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary. Recently, Transformers One, a prequel film set entirely on the Transformers home world of Cybertron, released on digital. While the film received rave reviews, it unfortunately didn’t perform well in the box office. VUDU describes the film as follows:
TRANSFORMERS ONE is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, with Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm.
Lastly, Transformers: Eternal War will release on mobile devices in 2025. Wanda Cinemas Games will likely confirm more details about the game in the coming months.
