Konami’s Edens Zero console game was originally announced at Tokyo Game Show 2020. Back in September of that same year, the developers confirmed it was roughly 40% to 50% complete. A subsequent update in June 2024 reiterated that development was still underway.

A June 2024 Shonen Sunday issue confirmed that players can relive the story of Edens Zero and fight in immersive battles in the new title. Once more, the game is a 3D action RPG that sees the Edens Zero crew explore various planets. Players can explore an open-world Blue Garden as well.

Mashima’s Fairy Tail manga series returned with a new one-shot chapter on July 3. The chapter released almost exactly one month after Mashima’s Edens Zero manga concluded in Weekly Shonen Magazine. Advertisements were now on display at Gokukuji Station in Tokyo, promoting the new one-shot, the final chapter of Edens Zero and the Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest anime.

Fans of Mashima’s work may also look forward to Farmagia, a new monster-raising and life-sim RPG, and Fairy Tail 2, the sequel to 2020 Fairy Tail RPG. Both of these titles are coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Farmagia will also receive an anime adaptation
