    Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Release Date Shifts Up

    During Xbox Partner Preview, SEGA and Like a Dragon developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced the release date for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii has shifted up to February 21, 2025. Originally, the game was planned to release on February 28.

    A new trailer was also released during the Xbox-focused event, revealing ship combat, on-foot exploration, Goro Majima’s fighting styles, and much more. In addition, the trailer confirms that Taiga Saejima will return to aid his brother-in-arms.

    In this new Like a Dragon Gaiden-style game, Majima will have two fighting styles: Mad Dog and Sea Dog. You can jump in combat for the first time, so you will be able to use air combos with these styles. The Dragon Kart and Crazy Delivery mini-games will make their return from past installments. Further, fans may also customize Majima’s outfit just like Kazuma Kiryu’s in Gaiden.

    A Digital Deluxe Edition will be sold for $74.99 featuring the Legendary Pirate Crew Pack, Legendary Outfit Pack, Ship Special Customization Pack, Extra Karaoke & CD Pack, and the Ichiban Kasuga Pirate Crew & Special Outfit pre-order bonus. Moreover, digital pre-orders are live in the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam, and  physical editions will be sold. A Collector’s Edition will be sold featuring an acrylic stand, pirate flag, treasure coin pin, eye patch, and Deluxe Edition DLC voucher.
