Nintendo has announced that Banjo-Tooie will come to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service on October 25. The sequel to Banjo-Kazooie, it is unknown if the new release will feature the Xbox version’s re-implementation of the Stop ‘n’ Swap mechanic. Nintendo regularly adds more games to the Nintendo Switch Online service, including classic Game Boy and SNES games. Subscribers may upgrade to the Expansion Pack tier for access to Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Advance games. This year saw the additions of Microsoft’s Rare catalog, Mother 3 (Japan only), Super R-Type, F-ZERO Maximum Velocity, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, the Starfy series, and much more.
Nintendo’s most recent game, Super Mario Party: Jamboree, is available now. Many state that Jamboree is the biggest entry in the series thus far. It features wa wide variety of playable characters, seven maps (including two from the Nintendo 64 games), and of course, dozens of brand new minigames.
According to the game’s description, players can “take on over 110 minigames, 7 game boards (5 new boards and 2 returning boards), and join up to 20 players head-to-head online in Koopathlon mode!”
Lastly, Banjo-Tooie will release for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service next week, on October 25.
