Tekken 8 is offering two new rewards to players after examining the fan feedback of the Genmaji stage controversy. The first reward is that players who have the Season Pass will have access to the winter Battle Stage DLC without purchasing it separately. The winter Battle Stage DLC will arrive with the winter DLC character. The last reward is that developers are offering 500 TEKKEN coins to everyone who logs into Tekken 8 from October 29 – November 26.
Tekken 8 Developers Address The Genmaji Stage Controversy
To provide context, Heihachi’s DLC inclusion includes the Genmaji Temple stage, which is Heihachi’s home stage and the headquarters of the Tekken Monks. However, even if players are season pass or premium edition owners, they still must buy the Genmaji stage. This has frustrated some players and led to multiple discussions amongst the community on social media. Harada took to X/Twitter earlier this month for some transparency.
The staff within the TEKKEN Team Project states that they will continue working to improve Tekken 8 and appreciate fans’ feedback and continued support.
