Konami announced Silent Hill 2 has surpassed one million copies sold worldwide in just three days, spanning from October 8 to 11. These sales account for digital copies sold on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam), along with physical shipments of Silent Hill 2.
Silent Hill 2 initially released for the PlayStation 2 in 2001. The remake, developed by Konami and Bloober Team, features third-person action similar to the likes of the recent Resident Evil games. Despite this, the remake received high critical acclaim, and it’s one of the highest rated games of the year on Metacritic at 86.
Lastly,, here’s an overview of the game via the official Steam page:

James heads to where they shared so many memories,
in the hope of seeing her one more time: Silent Hill.
There, by the lake, he finds a woman eerily similar to her…
“My name… is Maria,” the woman smiles. Her face, her voice… She’s just like her.
