Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO reached an 24-hour peak of 91,005 players on Steam during its three-day early access period. This is a great sign ahead of the full launch on October 11, as it could set a new launch record for the franchise.
91,005 is the three-hour peak and the 24-hour peak for Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO, which is good indication that the launch will be massive on Steam. This is well over the 49,977 all-time peak for Tekken 8 and the 70,573 all-time peak for Street Fighter 6 following their respective launches on Steam.
Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO will feature the largest roster in Budokai Tenkaichi history, with 182 playable characters at launch. This includes the pre-order bonus character, Goku (Mini) from Dragon Ball Daima. Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO will receive 20+ playable characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and Dragon Ball Daima.
The game will feature an Episode Battle mode, allowing players to enjoy the story of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super from eight different perspectives. This mode’s playable characters are Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Future Trunks, Frieza, Goku Black, and Jiren.
Ahead of Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO’s launch, Secretlab revealed a new Dragon Ball Z Goku Edition of their signature TITAN Evo gaming chair. The chair is available right now at Secretlab, starting at $644.
