The 44th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump announced that the Jujutsu Kaisen manga series by Gege Akutami surpassed 100 million copies in circulation. This announcement was accompanied by the final chapter of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga.
Roughly 20 million copies of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga entered circulation since June 2023. The manga’s final two volumes, Vol. 29 and 30, will both ship on December 25 this year.
Akutami launched the Jujutsu Kaisen manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018, and 27 volumes have been published as of July 5, 2024. VIZ Media distributes the manga digitally and physically in the west, and Shueisha also publishes the manga on Manga Plus. Previously, Akutami teased the end of Jujutsu Kaisen at Jump Festa 2024 in December 2023 by stating it would be the final Jump Festa where it is actively serialized.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 – Shibuya Incident Arc is complete, with all episodes now available to stream on Crunchyroll. The first five episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 cover the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc. Moreover, all 24 episodes of the first season and the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie are available to stream on the service as well. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 – Culling Game is coming soon with studio MAPPA returning as the anime’s animation studio.
