Gege Akutami Teases End of Jujutsu Kaisen Manga

The manga could conclude before Jump Festa 2025.

Jujutsu Kaisen creator and author Gege Akutami teases the end of the serialization of the popular manga series at Jump Festa 2024. Specifically, Akutami notes that it could be the latest Jump Festa event with the Jujutsu Kaisen manga as an ongoing series.

During the Jump Festa 2024 livestream, it was revealed that Jujutsu Kaisen manga series reached 90 million copies in circulation. Roughly 10 million copies were added in circulation following the premiere of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. This is an incredible achievement for Jujutsu Kaisen as the series heads toward its conclusion.

Jump Festa 2024 Could Be the Last One for the Jujutsu Kaisen Manga

Alongside other manga authors, Jujutsu Kaisen creator Gege Akutami left a comment for fans at Jump Festa 2024. Akutami notes that Jump Festa 2024 will “probably definitely” be the final Jump Festa event where Jujutsu Kaisen is still in serialization. This lines up with Akutami’s comments from 2021, stating that Jujutsu Kaisen would probably end within two years. At last year’s Jump Festa, Akutami states that he would like fans to accompany him for one more year.
