During the Tokyo Game Show 2024 stage show featuring Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu, Square Enix and Mistwalker announced Fantasian Neo Dimension will feature music from the Final Fantasy franchise.
To commemorate the collaborative effort between Sakaguchi and Square Enix, Fantasian Neo Dimension will have music tracks from Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, and Final Fantasy XVI.
Hironobu Sakaguchi is directly involved in this project after nearly 20 years apart from Square Enix, with Nobuo Uematsu as the composer. Final Creative Studio 3’s Naoki Yoshida is also involved with the release of the updated game. An interview with Sakaguchi was published at PlayStation Blog shortly after State of Play.
Fantasian Neo Dimension launches December 5 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game will also be released physically for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. Digital and physical pre-orders include the Vibran Secret Stone jewel, which increases EXP gains.
