Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy XVI Complete Edition is now available on PlayStation 5 for $69.99 via the PlayStation Store, featuring the Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide DLC. The cost of the digital Standard Edition on PS5 has also been reduced to $49.99, ensuring both editions on PS5 and PC are the same price.
Players who purchase Final Fantasy XVI before October 17 at 8:00 a.m. PDT on Steam and Epic Games Store will receive the Brave Blade weapon, Cait Sith charm (Gil Boost Accessory), “Sixteen Bells” Orchestrion Roll DLC items at no additional cost. These items are also included with the Complete Edition on PS5.
In fact, the Brave Blade weapon can now be claimed in the PS5 Standard Edition of Final Fantasy XVI as well. Players need to update the game to version 1.34 in order to claim the weapon.

A free Final Fantasy XVI demo is available on PC. and PS5. The demo includes the opening prologue of the game, with save data carrying over to the full game. With over two hours of content, the demo also includes a special “Eikonic Challenge” Mode.
Previously, Final Fantasy XVI director Hiroshi Takai said future Final Fantasy games are “possible, probably even likely” to arrive on multiple platforms on day one. Square Enix’s new multiplatform strategy suggests day one launches on PC will be common.
