The staff of Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 released a new trailer for the upcoming first cour’s premiere, revealing the opening and ending theme songs. LiSA performs the Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 opening theme song “QUEEN,” and otoha performs the ending theme song “Dancer in the Dark Night.”

Katarina began the Shangri-La Frontier web novel series on the “Let’s Be Novelists” website in May 2017. Three years later, the manga adaptation by Ryosuke Fuji began in Weekly Shonen Magazine in July 2020. The anime premiered on October 1, 2023 as a two-cour series.
A total of 25 episodes for the first season of the Shangri-La Frontier anime series aired in two cours from October 2023 to March 2024. 13 episodes aired in the first cour, followed by 12 episodes in the second cour. Fans outside of Japan may watch the Shangri-La Frontier anime on Crunchyroll.
