The official website for The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors Season 2 confirms that the TV anime will premiere on October 4 on TV Tokyo, BS11, BS Nippon TV, and AT-X. A new key visual for the TV anime series was released as well.

The second film for The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors Season 2 will air in Japanese theaters until September 12. Moreover, the third and final film will premiere on September 20 and run until October 10. These movies adapt episodes 5 through 12, and the first film that aired this past July adapted the first four episodes.
Cast members and Nanako Ikeda, the anime’s producer, will greet fans at three September 21 screenings at Tokyo’s Shinjuku Piccadilly theater. Two of the appearances will be streamed live to screenings in other theaters. What’s more, voice actress Sayaka Kitahara (Mei Izumi) and Ikeda will appear at a talk event after the September 30 screening at the Shinjuku Piccadilly theater.
The anime series for The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors mobile game first premiered in Japanese theaters on October 27, 2023. A total of three The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors films were released in the final quarter of 2023, each focusing on four episodes of the 12-episode cour. The TV anime adaptation for The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors premiered on April 5 and all 12 episodes aired on TV Tokyo, BS11, and BS Nippon TV.
