Phoenixx and AQUASTYLE announced Touhou Project turn-based RPG Touhou Genso Wanderer -FORESIGHT- is coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on September 18. The console versions will cost $37.99 and include content from previously released updates.
The Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of Touhou Genso Wanderer -FORESIGHT include content released up to update 1.05. This update addresses multiple bugs involving save data and Magic Circles. Moreover, skill animations now play faster, and some enemy skills have been adjusted. The update also added the new Izanagi Old Well and Hakurei Shrine Old Well dungeons.
A physical standard edition of Touhou Genso Wanderer -FORESIGHT- for Switch will cost 5,500 yen in Japan. A limited edition will be sold for 9,900 yen featuring a special box, the original soundtrack, an art book, an acrylic diorama stand, two DLC costumes, and a “secret” item.

Touhou Genso Wanderer -FORESIGHT- features a star-studded voice cast, addictive RPG mechanics, and a compelling soundtrack composed by Super Robot Wars DD and Super Robot Wars 30 composer Tatsuyuki Toyota. The new game also supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese options, so players around the world may enjoy this new title.
Here’s a story synopsis of the latest Touhou title:
In a corridor somewhere… Reimu Hakurei loses a battle and faints. She comes to and finds herself at Hakurei Shrine. She’s unable to remember anything… What had she even been doing in the first place? Having regained consciousness, Reimu sets out together with her friend Marisa Kirisame to solve incidents. Reimu must now save Gensokyo… From the various incidents, some of which she’d already solved before. —Reimu has no idea what she’s in for.
