Bandai Namco Entertainment released a new trailer for the second The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors Season 2 film. This film will feature the second batch of episodes for the 12-episode season.
The second film for The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors Season 2 will air in Japanese theaters starting August 23 until September 12. The third and final film will premiere on September 20 and run until October 10. Fans in Japan may look forward to the TV anime’s premiere sometime this fall. Bandai Namco will likely share more details at a later date.

In Japan, the first film for The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors Season 2 is now airing in theaters. The film will be available at participating theaters until July 25, giving fans roughly three weeks to watch the first four episodes of the anime.
The anime series for The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors mobile game first premiered in Japanese theaters on October 27, 2023. A total of three The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors films were released in the final quarter of 2023, each focusing on four episodes of the 12-episode cour. The TV anime adaptation for The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors premiered on April 5 and all 12 episodes aired on TV Tokyo, BS11, and BS Nippon TV.
The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Theater director Mankyū is directing the anime at studio Polygon Pictures. Yoichi Kato (The Idolmaster Million Live!) is the scriptwriter for the anime. The first season’s opening theme song is “Tsubasa Gravity.”
