Insomniac Games has announced that they will be adding new costumes to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on June 18. The new update will also include a few gameplay adjustments.
Spider-Man 2 is the long-anticipated follow-up to 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man and 2020’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The game includes many new suits, abilities, characters, and more. The game has sold millions of copies and become the 4th best selling game of the year. Insomniac initially announced the NG+ update in December, before confirming it would launch in March. Recently, the game passed 11 million units sold.
New Spider-Man 2 Update Dropping on June 18, Will Add New Costumes
Insomniac Games has revealed that the next update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will release on June 18. The update will include several new costumes: four for Miles and four for Peter. Miles will get the Metro Suit, designed by KidSuper, the Ginga Suit, designed by Vini Jr. and KidSuper, and both the Uptown Pride and Animated Suit from Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Peter will get the Fluro Suit, designed by Lando Norris and KidSuper, the Motorchic Suit, co-designed by Rina Sawayama and KidSuper, and both the Last Stand and Into the Spider-Verse suit from Marvel’s Spider-Man. The update will also include stability fixes and the ability to swap out your parry and traversal abilities from the Symbiote to Spider Arms.
