Insomniac Games has released the launch trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 before it launches this Friday, October 20. The trailer reveals more footage of the game’s main protagonists and antagonists.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the long-anticipated follow-up to Spider-Man for the PS4. It also follows up Spider-Man: Miles Morales on the PlayStation 4 and 5. The game will feature Miles Morales and Peter Parker as playable characters and include several new mechanics and characters, including the monstrous Venom and deadly Kraven. The game will be available exclusively on the PlayStation 5.
Spider-Man 2 Launch Trailer Showcases Venom and the Black Suit
The final trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 reveals more footage of Venom, the game’s main antagonist. There are also more scenes of the returning Mr. Negative, Peter Parker’s new black suit, and a new villain: Sandman. It is unknown how big of a role Sandman will play in Spider-Man 2. However, he will likely be the game’s first antagonist, similar to Rhino in Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Lastly, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will release this Friday, October 20. The game is available to preload now exclusively on the PlayStation 5. Reviews of the game will go live on October 16 at 10:00 AM EDT.
