Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer LIVE LXXXI will air on May 16 with new details on the upcoming Dawntrail expansion. Specifically, the livestream will go over job-related updates coming in patch 7.0.
This summer, players will embark on a new adventure in the continent of Tural in the Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail expansion. The Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail benchmark launched on April 14, allowing players to see the new graphical updates for themselves and check out the new female Hrothgar race in the character creation tool. Fans will learn more about Dawntrail and patch 7.0 in Letter from the Producer LIVE LXXXI.

The Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer LIVE LXXXI livestream will be held on May 16 at 4:00 a.m. PST / 7:00 a.m. EST. Producer Naoki Yoshida will go over job-related updates coming in Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail and patch 7.0. The livestream will feature live interpretation from Japanese to English, with slides being presented in both languages. Fans may tune into the livestream on YouTube, NicoNico Live, and Twitch.

Previously, the Final Fantasy XVI collaboration event ran until May 8 in Final Fantasy XIV, featuring a new crossover storyline called “The Path Infernal.” Completing the crossover questline awards players the Metian set, which is Clive Rosfield’s iconic outfit from Final Fantasy XVI. A Torgal mount, Torgal Pup minion, Clive Triple Triad card, and various Orchestrion Rolls featuring music from the Final Fantasy XVI original soundtrack were also available.
Final Fantasy XIV is now available across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail expansion launches on July 2, with early access beginning on June 28.
