SEGA and ATLUS have released a new “Daily Demon” video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, introducing the demon Vritra. This demon was previously featured in Soul Hackers 2.

The May 10 Daily Demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance introduced Nyami Nyami, the Zambezi River god of the Tonga and Lozi tribes of southern Africa. He has the body of a sanke and the head of a fish or dragon. He’s believed to protect people near the water and provide them with sustenance.

Returning in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Vritra is a giant, ferocious dragon of Indian myth. Indra, the Hindu God of Thunder, battled and defeated Vritra in order to save the world from drought. Vritra always revives itself the following year, so both him and Indra are locked in an eternal battle.
