SEGA and ATLUS have released a new “Daily Demon” video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, introducing the demon Kudlak. This demon was previously featured in Soul Hackers 2.

The April 30 Daily Demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance introduced Mephisto, an arch-duke of hell. His name means “he who cannot love the light.” Mephisto has vast knowledge on astronomy, astrology, and meteorology. Of course, Mephisto is also a trickster and a master of illusions that manipulate the five senses.

Returning in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Kudlak is a vampire that embodies true evil and darkness. He’s believed to be the cause of any and all adversities that humans have faced, including disease, poor crops, and misfortune. He typically targets the defenseless and innocent people. His eternal rival is Kresnik, the protector of good.
