Idea Factory International announced Compile Heart and Sting’s bullet hell strategy RPG Touhou Spell Carnival will launch on May 7 for PC via Steam. The Steam version will cost $49.99, and a physical Limited Edition will be sold for $99.99.
The Touhou Spell Carnival Limited Edition feature the game’s Steam key (via email on launch day), Reimu and Marisa figures, a 56-page hardcover art book, a 52-track official soundtrack, collector’s box, and exclusive trading card. Pre-orders are available now in the Idea Factory International Online Store.
A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available with the digital Steam version, two digital art books, the digital official soundtrack and inlay, 20 mobile wallpapers, three PC wallpapers, and the Gensokyo Safe Adventure Pack. The Gensokyo Safe Adventure Pack is free with the Digital Deluxe Edition within the first two weeks of the game’s launch.

Touhou Spell Carnival is currently available in the west for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. On PC, Touhou Spell Carnival will feature with Japanese voiceovers with Japanese, English, French, Spanish (Spain), Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese subtitles. Story
Gensokyo — A remote land isolated from the Outside World, where humans and youkai live side-by-side.
One day, the shrine maiden of Hakurei Shrine, Reimu Hakurei, spots mysterious pillars towering over various locations throughout Gensokyo.
These pillars signaled the start of the Spell Carnival, a festival hosted by Yukari Yakumo where one must put their Spell Cards on the line in battle.
In order to investigate the true intentions of Yukari Yakumo, who initiated the Spell Carnival so suddenly, Reimu Hakurei joins the fight for Spell Cards.
