    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Daily Demon Video Introduces Matador

    The Spanish Grim Reaper awaits.

    SEGA and ATLUS have released a new “Daily Demon” video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, introducing the demon Matador. This demon was previously featured in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne and the “Return of the True Demon” DLC from the original Shin Megami Tensei V.

    The April 16 Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Daily Demon video recently introduced Xiezhai (Avatar), a sacred beast resembling a sheep in Chinese mythology. It’s believed that Xiezhai’s eyes have the power to see any and all lies instantly. Xiezhai appears often in the human world and punishes evildoers with its sharp horn.

    The latest Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Daily Demon video introduces Matador (Fiend), a Spanish Grim Reaper born from the pursuit of killing. He now preys on humans instead of bulls with his Espada, or sword, in hand.

    What’s more, a Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance “premium play experience” demo event will be held from May 3 to 4 in Japan. Attendees may play up to six hours of the game’s new scenario. Applications for players in Japan were available until March 31 at 23:59 JST.

    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on June 14 worldwide. The game is available to pre-order now digitally in the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam for $59.99. In addition, physical pre-orders are available now at participating retailers.

    Lastly, the Digital Deluxe Edition is available to pre-order right now for $69.99 featuring Mitama Dance of Wealth, Mitama Dance of EXP, Mitama Dance of Miracles, Sakura Cinders of the East, and Holy Will and Profane Dissent. As previously announced, the Sakura Cinders of the East DLC includes Konohana Sakuya, and the Holy Will and Profane Dissent DLC features Dagda from Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse
