    Oshi no Ko Season 2 Early Screenings Announced for Japan

    Revival screenings for Season 1 confirmed as well.

    A new trailer for the Oshi no Ko anime series confirms that early screenings for the first episode of Season 2 will be held in Japan. Revival screenings of the first 90-minute episode of Oshi no Ko Season 1 will also premiere.

    Oshi no Ko Season 2 will premiere in July 2024, and it will adapt the anime’s “Tokyo Blade” stage play. Alongside the anime, a second season of the Oshi no Ko anime series is being produced. A live-action movie, an Amazon Prime series, and a slew of new merchandise, including the upcoming Ai Hoshino Nendoroid, are also on the way. 

    Oshi no Ko Season 1 and Season 2 Screenings 

    Oshi no Ko Season 1 episode “Mother and Children” will receive a revival screening for two weeks starting on June 7 in Japan. Fans in the country may watch a Dolby Cinema version of the episode. Early screenings for the first episode of Oshi no Ko Season 2 will begin on June 30.

    Fans may also look forward to several new Oshi no Ko figures from Good Smile Company. Firstly, the manufacturer will release new Akane Kurokawa and MEMcho Nendoroid figures. Three new POP UP PARADE figures and three Date Style scale figures for Ruby, Aqua, and Kana will be released as well. 

    New chapters of Mengo Yokoyari and Aka Akasaka’s Oshi no Ko manga series typically release on Thursdays at 12:00 a.m. JST / Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. EDT. Fans may read new manga chapters on Manga Plus in English. In Japan, new chapters are available in Young Jump and other manga services.
