A new trailer shown at the Ichigo Production ☆ Fan Appreciation Festival 2023 event reveals that Oshi no Ko Season 2 will premiere in 2024. Moreover, a new key visual depicts character designs for Aqua, Akane, and Kana in the upcoming season.
Authored by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, Oshi no Ko is a very popular anime and manga series that explores the dark side of the idol industry. In recent chapters, the Oshi no Ko manga has explored production of the “15-Year Lie” film, which serves as a biography of Ai’s life leading up to her death. Next year, fans can expect more new anime episodes to catch fans up on the manga’s happenings.
Oshi no Ko Season 2 in Production
The latest trailer for Oshi no Ko Season 2 confirms that it will premiere in 2024, but an exact release date was not given. As previously announced at Anime Expo 2023, HIDIVE will stream the anime as new episodes premiere in Japan. All 11 episodes of the Oshi no Ko anime are available to stream now on HIDIVE.

New Oshi no Ko chapters typically release on Thursdays at 12:00 a.m. JST / Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. EDT. Fans may read new manga chapters on Manga Plus in English. In Japan, new chapters are available in Young Jump and other manga services. Occasionally, the manga may take a one-week break.
