Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Patch 1.030 Is Available Now; Fixes “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” Quest Bug

This morning, Square Enix confirmed that the 1.030 patch for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is officially now available. This update brings new bug fixes, with the “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” sidequest bug now patched. Previously, players would not be able to complete the G-Bike portion of this quest regardless of their high score. Now, that issue has been resolved, so you can complete this quest and head closer to earning the coveted Platinum Trophy.

The previous update, Version 1.020, addressed performance issues with increased frame rate and fidelity. Additionally, certain bugs related to the camera, progress in the story, and combat were addressed. You can view the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Version 1.030 Patch notes here.

Yesterday, the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Original Soundtrack released. A Standard Edition, ~Special Edit Version~, and Digital Edition are now available. The ~Special Edit Version~ had comments from some of the key staff behind the title, which we documented here. A sales update was also provided through Famitsu, with over 310,000 physical copies sold in the first month of release. For more information on FFVII Rebirth, be sure to stay tuned. The Ultimania is now officially out in Japan, and it promises to have “secret info” regarding the game and its story.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available now exclusively for PlayStation 5. Be sure to check out our 5/5 review of the game, where we stated, “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a generational RPG that exemplifies everything there is to love about the medium.”
