Arc System Works explained the schedule, prize pool, and rules for Arc World Tour 2024 on their website. The games that will be participating in this tour are Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Guilty Gear Strive, and Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes.
Last month, the Arc World Tour 2024 officially began after the GBVSR Arc World Tour 2023 finals ended. Officials at Arc System Works stated that this World Tour will have more tournaments than the Arc World Tour 2023. Arc World Tour 2024 – Schedule, Prize Pool, and Rules
Regarding the prize pool, both Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising and Guilty Gear Strive will each have a $90,000 split between the 13 finalists. However, Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes will have $40,000 split between its 7 finalists. There are 16 finalist slots for GBVSR and GGST and 8 slots for Under Night.
Additionally, many offline tournaments are a part of the World Tour, including Combo Breaker 2024, Frosty Faustings 2025, and EVO 2024. If you go to the website, you will see that different events are classified as Gold or Platinum. This is because Arc World Tour 2024 is based on a 3-point ranking system. Some tournaments are in a Gold tier, while others are in Platinum. Players who win Platinum tournaments immediately qualify for the Arc World Tour 2024 finals. If you don’t win a platinum tournament but consistently place top 8 in many events, your points will accumulate over time. Players with the highest points at the end of all qualifying events will receive invitations to the finals.
Finally, there is another tier called Silver, which is specifically for online tournaments. Arc System Works stated that the details of these events will be shown at a later date. You can expect many more tournament qualifiers to be announced soon, so stay tuned.
