The official website for the ongoing Bleach anime series reveals a stunning new key visual to celebrate the anime’s 20th anniversary. A special Bleach music video was also confirmed for AnimeJapan 2024, which begins on March 23.
After a decade-long hiatus, the Bleach anime returned with Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War on October 11, 2022. The anime’s second cour, Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 – The Separation, ran from July 8 to September 30 last year. Fans may look forward to the anime’s third cour in 2024, and more news appears to be imminent to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Bleach anime.
Bleach Anime 20th Anniversary Key Visual and Upcoming Music Video
The new Bleach key visual prominently features Ichigo and his many adversaries, including those who befriended him later in the series. The order of these encounters goes from bottom to top, with the top featuring Yhwach and his chosen successor, Uryu Ishida.
To commemorate the anime’s 20th anniversary, a special Bleach “The Locus of Brave” Exhibition will be held on April 26 in Yokohama. What’s more, a special Bleach music video in collaboration with SennaRin will be released on March 23 at AnimeJapan 2024. Before then, major news about Bleach is expected in the March 18-due issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.
Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 – The Conflict picks up directly after the events of episode 26 with episode 27 releasing sometime in 2024. The third cour will likely run for 13 episodes. Fans can expect a fourth and final part to the Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War anime series.
New episodes of Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War will air on Japanese broadcasting networks. Outside of Japan, the anime is exclusive to Hulu in the U.S. and Disney Plus in the U.K, Europe, and other territories. Additionally, subtitles will be available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, and German.
Bleach fans may also look forward to Bleach: Soul Resonance, a new action game launching in 2024 for Android and iOS. Bleach: Soul Resonance lets players relive the events of Bleach through many memorable battles with their favorite characters. A closed beta test is coming soon.
A new Bleach Rebirth of Souls trademark suggests a new console/PC game is in the works. However, official details about this title remain unknown.
