SEGA released a new trailer for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board featuring another look into gameplay mechanics, minigames, and boards. Physical pre-orders for the game are also available now at participating retailers.
Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Sweep the Board was announced shortly after the Aniplex Online Fest 2023 event. In the months following the event, SEGA confirmed the game’s April 26 worldwide release date, opened physical pre-orders, and released multiple new trailers introducing the game’s features.

The latest trailer for Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Sweep the Board introduces some of the minigames and boards that players have access to. Up to four players may enjoy a game together on dynamic boards themed around locations from the anime series, including Tsuzumi Mansion, Mt. Natagumo, and the Mugen Train.
In addition, the trailer formally introduces the Demon Slayer Dice. Each Demon Slayer swordsman has their own set of dice featuring unique special effects. Once the Demon Slayer Dice is activated, a cooldown timer of three turns will begin. Players must use their ability wisely in help them get one step closer to victory. Moreover, if a different character joins the player’s group, they will be able to use their Demon Slayer Dice.
Lastly, Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board releases on April 26, 2024 worldwide for Nintendo Switch. Here’s an overview of the new Nintendo Switch game, courtesy of SEGA:

In Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board!, players will explore a dynamic world designed like a board game. Each board features memorable locations from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, including Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa. As the time-of-day changes from day and night, the spaces of each board changes, bringing new events and opportunities for players to discover as they plan their next move.
Choose from a cast of fan-favorite characters including Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and 9 Hashiras before engaging in fun, exciting multiplayer action for up to 4 players, either locally or online. Nezuko Kamado will also join in on the fun as a support character. Take on a variety of thrilling mini-games, meet familiar characters, work together to defeat dangerous demons lurking in the night, and aim to become the most powerful demon slayer among the rest!
