    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Final Trailer Gives One Last Sneak Peek

    Free demo is available now.

    During its dedicated State of Play showcase, Square Enix revealed a jaw-dropping final trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. A free demo is also available now, and a new key visual featuring Aerith shows that players will ultimately determine her fate.

    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth doesn’t need a formal introduction, as it’s one of the most anticipated releases of 2024. Players will soon explore the world outside of Midgar in the full game, and the free demo is already available on PlayStation 5 for those who don’t want to wait. 

    The Last Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Trailer Before Launch

    The final trailer sees Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith, Yuffie, Red XIII, Cait Sith, Cid, and Vincent on their journey together in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Various key visuals for Aerith, Red XIII, Cid, and Vincent were revealed as well. Once more, the group will be in pursuit of Sephiroth in order to save the planet. Players will venture into new and familiar territory, including the Temple of the Ancients. A ton of mini-games will be available, such as 3D Brawler, Chocobo Racing, and G-Bike. Zack Fair, Reno, Cissnei and Roche are just some of the many characters that will appear as well. Moreover, the game’s thrilling real-time combat system features new Synergy Abilities.

    PlayStation also released a promotional trailer to highlight the supported PlayStation 5 features for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth:

    The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo is available now with an early portion of the game’s story and content. Transfer save data from the demo to full game to unlock the Kupo Charm and Survival Set. On February 21, the demo will receive an update titled “Dawn of a New Era in Junon” featuring a section of the Junon region around the harbor town. 

    A tremendous amount of information has been confirmed for Rebirth thus far, including confirmation of non-playable Vincent & Cid, a “new episode with Zack,” the file size of the game, and more. Leading up to launch, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete will return to theaters in both Japan and the USA. A special short film will premiere alongside the movie, featuring new interviews with key FFVII creators. Kitase, Hamaguchi, and Nomura will all appear in this film.

    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is set to launch exclusively for PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024. The title will be exclusive to the platform until May 29, 2024. A Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition are available to pre-order now.
