Cygames announced the Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo surpassed 600,000 downloads as of January 26. The development team confirms that multiple adjustments will be made in future updates to the full game.

Released on January 12, the Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo lets PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players try out Tutorial Mode, Story Mode, and Quest Mode. Completing content from the demo unlocks rewards in the full game. The demo presents a valuable opportunity for Cygames to gauge player feedback as well.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink Demo Feedback

Cygames thanks fans greatly on Twitter for helping the Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo achieve a major milestone in just two weeks. The developers recognize player feedback regarding camera controls, key bindings, and other features from the demo. Adjustments and changes will be made in future game updates, so Cygames encourages fans to stay tuned for more news.

As previously revealed, the first major post-launch content for Granblue Fantasy: Relink will release in early March. This update includes an incredibly difficult battle against Lucilius, who was recently added as a playable character in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. The developers will recreate the animations and “badass vibe” of the Lucilius battle from the Granblue Fantasy mobile game.

In April, another free update will be released. This particular update introduces playable characters Tweyen and Seofon. Another update is planned for May 2024, but Cygames did not reveal any specific details regarding this update.

The Granblue Fantasy: Relink original soundtrack will be sold for 7,150 yen in a 6-CD set. The OST will go on sale March 13, and pre-orders are available now in Japan. The company also revealed a bonus for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising players. Players with Granblue Fantasy: Relink data will unlock a free Id premium avatar.

Lastly, Granblue Fantasy: Relink launches February 1 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The game supports cross-play between the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions.
