Cygames and Arc System Works announced Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising DLC character Lucilius will release on January 16, 2024, and 2B from NieR: Automata will join the roster as the next DLC character! More updates and upcoming DLC characters were revealed at Granblue Fantasy Fes 2023 in Tokyo.

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising DLC Characters Lucilius and 2B
The main stage at Granblue Fantasy Fes 2023 reveals two new trailers for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, confirming that Lucilius will release on January 16, 2024. Lucilius will be a powerful rushdown attacker with skills that reduce his cooldown time for skills. In short, he’s aims to dominate his opponents. He will be available alongside the version 1.10 update, which adds the new Feendrache stage, bug fixes, and other tweaks.

2B from NieR: Automata will be the second DLC character for the current Character Pass in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. The second trailer confirms that 2B will release in late February 2024. A DLC bonus tie-in will be available for the Granblue Fantasy mobile game as well.

DLC Roadmap
A new DLC roadmap for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising was revealed at the main stage as well. Players can expect Vane and Beatrix to arrive as the third and fourth DLC characters in April and May 2024 respectively. Moreover, the fifth and sixth DLC characters are releasing in August and October 2024 as well. In 2024, players can expect a new Grand Bruise! Game Mode, a new minigame in the Online Lobby, a new bonus story, and an entirely new game mode.
In the immediate future, players can expect Mitsuhiro Ichiki to join the game as the Yukichi lobby avatar on December 25 in the in-game Rupie Shop. The Black Butterfly costume for Narmaya will be available as a Premium Battle Pass reward, too.
Lastly, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising releases December 14 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
