Granblue Fantasy: Relink Demo and Game Updates

Firstly, the Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo launches on January 12 at 12:00 a.m. local time for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The demo is already available in regions where it’s already past midnight, such as Japan and New Zealand. As previously revealed, the demo includes Tutorial Mode, Story Mode, and Quest Mode, and completing content in the demo unlocks rewards for the full game.

Cygames reveals the first major post-launch content for Granblue Fantasy: Relink will release in early March featuring an incredibly difficult battle against Lucilius, who will soon be playable in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. The developers will recreate the animations and “badass vibe” of the Lucilius battle from the Granblue Fantasy mobile game. In April, the aforementioned update featuring playable characters Tweyen and Seofon will be released. Another update is planned for May 2024, but Cygames did not reveal any specific details regarding this update.

Cygames reiterates that the Granblue Fantasy: Relink original soundtrack will be sold for 7,150 yen in a 6-CD set. The OST will go on sale March 13, and pre-orders are available now in Japan. The company also revealed a bonus for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising players: a free Id premium avatar for those with Granblue Fantasy: Relink data after the game’s launch.
