    The Master of Salmon.

Bandai Namco released a new Tekken 8 gameplay trailer for Kuma, another returning character from Tekken 7! In Tekken 8, Kuma will continue his Mishima-style training in tribute to Heihachi Mishima.

A free Tekken 8 demo is available now, allowing players to try out the game’s single-player modes before launch. Only one month remains before the game’s launch, and Bandai Namco is releasing various trailers focusing on each character on the roster.

Tekken 8 Kuma Reveal & Gameplay Trailer

Kuma is trained in the Heihachi-style Advanced Kuma Shin Ken fighting style, making him a formidable fighter in Tekken 8. He continues his training in order to perfect the Mishima-style, with his master’s signature outfit and belt. Kuma rescued Mishima Heavy Industries’ elite engineers from G Corp, and development of a “secret weapon” is now underway.

Here’s an excerpt of Kuma’s character bio, via Tekken 8’s official website:

Kuma is Heihachi Mishima’s pet and a member of the Mishima Zaibatsu’s special forces, Tekken Force. He never misses the chance to volunteer in disaster relief efforts all across Southeast Asia. Locals are always reluctant to accept Kuma at first, fearing that he might attack them. But, with his playful nature and strong work ethic, Kuma gradually wins them over and becomes the town favorite.
