Cygames announced the Uma Musume Pretty Derby series will receive a new anime film titled Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era. The new Uma Musume Pretty Derby anime film will premiere on May 24, 2024.
Season 3 of Uma Musume Pretty Derby ran from October 5 (JST) to December 21. The third season focused on the stories of Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond, who are voiced by Hinaki Yano and Hina Tachibana respectively. A new Uma Musume Pretty Derby story begins with Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era.
Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era Anime Film Debuts in the Spring
Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era explores the story of Jungle Pocket, a horse girl that wants to participate in the Triple Crown Classic race. Her rivals include Agnes Tachyon and Manhattan Cafe. A new trailer further highlights Jungle Pocket’s story, and the cast and staff have been revealed.

Ken Yamamoto directs the anime series at Cygames, with Kiyoko Yoshimura writing the script. Tetsuya Kobari is the scenario director, and Jun Yamazaki is the character designer and chief animation director. TOHO will distribute the upcoming film.
