TOHO Animation released a new trailer for the second cour of The Apothecary Diaries anime series on Christmas, revealing the new theme songs and cast members! The second cour is expected to continue with 12 episodes just like the first cour.
Natsu Hyūga and Touko Shino began publishing The Apothecary Diaries in 2011. The popular series has been adapted into a manga, and the anime series premiered on October 22, 2023. The first cour ended on December 24 with a preview of episode 13, and the anime will take a short break for the holidays.
The Apothecary Diaries Second Cour Theme Songs and Cast
As previously discussed, the second cour of The Apothecary Diaries begins on January 6 with episode 13. Uru will perform the new opening theme song “Ambivalent,” and wacci will perform the new ending theme song “Ai wa Kusuri” (Love is Medicine). Moreover, Takuya Kirimoto and Kaori Nazuka join the cast as Lakan and Suirei.
