    The Apothecary Diaries Light Novel Print Editions Coming in May 2024

    Anime premieres on October 22.

    Square Enix announced it will publish The Apothecary Diaries light novel series in English print editions for the very first time starting on May 14, 2024. The print editions will include full-color art inserts and black-and-white illustrations throughout each volume.

    Natsu Hyuuga and Touko Shino initially published The Apothecary Diaries in 2011. Over the years, it has been adapted into a novel series and a manga series. The anime series will begin on October 22, and fans may also look forward to the English light novel release on May 14.

    Square Enix collaborated with J-Novel Club to produce the English translations for The Apothecary Diaries light novel series. Alongside full-color art inserts and black-and-white illustrations, fans can expect collectors’ quality trade paperback covers. Volume 1 will release on May 14, 2024 on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and Indigo. Moreover, pre-orders are available at major physical bookstores starting today.

    “This bestselling light novel series has sold more than 21 million copies to date in print and digital worldwide, and has been adapted into both manga and a forthcoming anime,” Square Enix said in a press release. “Volumes 1 through 9 of The Apothecary Diaries manga series are currently available in English from the Square Enix Manga imprint in both print and digital editions. Fans can also look forward to the anime adaptation, which will begin streaming on Crunchyroll on October 22, 2023.”
