Kadokawa released a new trailer for KonoSuba Season 3, revealing that the anime will premiere in April 2024. The third season’s staff has also been revealed.
Natsume Akatsuki initially wrote the light novel series KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! in 2012. Over the years, KonoSuba received several adaptations, including manga releases, two anime seasons, and video games. After more than six years of waiting, the anime series will finally return in 2024.
KonoSuba Season 3 Anime Run Begins in April 2024
The latest trailer for KonoSuba Season 3 confirms the anime’s latest run will begin in April 2024. Takaomi Kanasaki will direct the third season at studio Drive alongside Yujiro Abe, who was formerly the episode director for Great Pretender. Makoto Uezu and Koichi Kikuta return as scriptwriter and character designer respectively. Moreover, Masato Kōda returns as the anime series composer. The new cast members of KonoSuba include:
- Kanon Takao as Iris
- Sayuri Yahagi as Claire
- Reina Ueda as Rain
