During Jump Festa 2024, Aniplex released a new trailer for the upcoming Blue Exorcist Shimane Illuminati Saga anime, which premieres on January 6. The newest trailer plays the opening theme song “Eye’s Sentry” by UVERworld.
The Blue Exorcist anime returned in 2017 after a six-year hiatus with Blue Exorcist Kyoto Saga, which ran for 12 episodes. In 2022, Aniplex confirmed that a new Blue Exorcist anime series was in the works, and Blue Exorcist Shimane Illuminati Saga was subsequently revealed in September 2023.

Once more, Blue Exorcist Shimane Illuminati Saga premieres on January 6 at 24:30 JST / 10:30 a.m. EDT. Mulasaki-Ima performs the ending theme song “Gakkyū Nisshi,” or “Class Diary.” UVERworld performs the aforementioned opening theme song “Eye’s Sentry.” The latest trailer plays a sample of UVERworld’s song before the premiere next month.

Daisuke Yoshida directs the anime series at Studio VOLN with Toshiya Ono overseeing the series scripts. Yurie Oohigashi is the character designer and chief animation director, while Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano compose the anime’s score.
