    Haikyu!! Final Part 1 Trailer, Volume 33.5 & New Figures Revealed

    A variety of announcements at Jump Festa 2024.

    The official Haikyu!! website reveals a new trailer for the upcoming Haikyu!! Final Part 1 film, which will premiere on February 16, 2024 as Haikyu!! the Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump. In addition, a new Haikyu!! volume and variety of scale figures were revealed. 

    Haruichi Furudate launched the Haikyu!! manga in 2011, and VIZ Media released the manga around the world. The Haikyu!! anime by Production I.G. premiered 2014 and lasted until 2020. Nearly four years after the anime ended, Haikyu!! returns with a two-part movie series. 

    Haikyu!! Jump Festa 2024 Trailer and Announcements 

    During Jump Festa 2024, a new trailer for Haikyu!! the Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump was released. The latest trailer offers a catchy preview of the theme song “Orange” by SPYAIR. Moreover, the official website reveals a stylish new key visual for the anime film.

    Those who watch the film in Japanese theaters will receive Haikyu!! Volume 33.5, which is limited to two million copies. This book contains a 16-page manga by Furudate, various character illustrations, the storyboard for chapter 322, and a Q&A with Furudate.

    Lastly, fans around the world may look forward to ARTFX J figures of Hinata Shoyo, Kageyama Tobio, Tetsuro Kuroo, and Kenma Kozume from Kotobukiya. Release dates and pricing for the figures were not revealed. Check out prototypes of these figures in our gallery below.

    Based off of the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. Unfortunately the team is matched up against the “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined.
