SNK have released The King of Fighters XIII: Global Match for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 digitally and physically today, November 16. A new Digital Deluxe Edition has been unveiled, too.
The King of Fighters XIII: Global Match is a newly improved version of the original KOF XIII fighting game with rollback netcode, spectator mode, and improved online features. The enhanced fighting game received its November 16 release date during EVO 2023, and the wait ends today with the game’s release and launch trailer.

The launch trailer for The King of Fighters XIII: Global Match highlights the game’s updated features and reveals the digital Deluxe Edition. For $29.99, the digital Deluxe Edition includes a 100-page digital art book and the game’s digital soundtrack. The digital standard edition is $19.99 on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

Physical standard, collector’s and deluxe editions are available at the Pix’n Love online store while supplies last. “First Edition” copies include a reversible cover for €40. Collector’s Edition (€90) contents include the physical game, an official, numbered NEOGEO snapcase with reversible cover, an 80-page artbook featuring never-before-seen design documents and illustrations, the game’s original soundtrack in CD format with digifile, and four double-sided lithographs. Moreover, the Deluxe Edition (€250) includes Collector’s Edition contents and a large-format painting printed on aluminum plate (27 in x 19 in).
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, the next major game in the long-running Fatal Fury franchise, is in development at SNK. The new title was showcased at EVO 2023 featuring returning characters Rock Howard and Terry Bogard. Moreover, Andy Bogard and Joe Higashi will be playable characters in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. More details about the game will likely come in 2024.
